Kindness ROCKS is a high-energy, inspirational and educational show focusing on
Kindness to self, others and our planet.
BE THE CHANGE THAT YOU WANT TO SEE!
KNOW KINDNESS ..... NO VIOLENCE!
What's new...
The Kindness ROCKS Team had an incredible and uplifting experience in February 2013 performing a total of nine shows at Burnaby South Secondary, MacNeil Secondary in Richmond, and Gleneagle Secondary in Coquitlam for over 9,500 students the week leading up to Pink Shirt Day. Here's what some of the students had to say about their experience: Student Feedback video.
The Kindness ROCKS shows at Gleneagle Secondary in Coquitlam were particularly emotional and poignant, due to the community's recent loss of Amanda Todd, who took her own life last year after being brutally bullied. Amanda's Mom, Carol Todd attended the presentation to show her support for the cause. You can hear what Carol and some other community leaders had to say about Kindness ROCKS here.
We were grateful to the many members of the press who came out to cover Kindness ROCKS. Click here to see the CTV National News story and here to see CBC's story on the French network.
Dirty Radio rocked out as usual with their new single "In My Head." Click here to check it out! As well, we have a few new additions to the show this year, including 604 Records recording artist Anami Vice who performed his new single "Can't Sleep" featuring Kevvy Mental.
Our goal is to take Kindness ROCKS accross Canada in 2014. We are currently looking to partner with like-minded organizations, sponsors, schools and individuals to help us achieve our goal.
